The Experience Handover
Due to a lack of work experience, young people have difficulties finding jobs. Very frustrating. Certainly because each year, loads of work experience is lost when people go on pension. Also very frustrating. But what if one problem could solve the other?
A certificate created in collaboration with the Belgium ministry of work that allows starters to adopt 40 years of working experience from a stopper. The certificate is officially recognized by the ministry of work and governmental institutions like VDAB, VOKA and Business and Society Belgium.
The center of this campaign is the website. Here, the project is explained, starters and stoppers can fill in a online profile based on education & working experience.
When there is a good fit between a starters and a stoppers profile, Delta Lloyd Life organizes a match so they can meet in real life. The starter adopts the working experience of the stopper during the last month before retirement. Next the starter can officially put his 40 years of newly gained experience on his resume. Thanks to the experience handover, young people get the opportunity to apply for jobs where more experience is required.
